Fire Shows |

Fire
dancing is a beautiful art form that is rapidly emerging and spreading in
the United States. Derived from a Maori and Polynesian tradition, fire dancers
have been popular in Hawaii at luaus for years, and its popularity is spreading
rapidly across the US.
A fire show is a great add-on to a hula show or a diva show - or it's fantastic on its own as the "main event". Fire shows generally last between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the number of performers, and work best at night time, though fire eating can be spectacular during the day as well. Our fire show can include solo, duet, and trio choreographed pieces along with fire eating and contact. We can also include belly dance and fire fans or fire fingers, and we work with middle eastern or african drummers or to prerecorded music. We are professionals - fully insured, and safety-conscious (we have a fully trained and dedicated safety person at each performance), and we are well informed about fire laws and regulations. If we will be performing for children, we include a lesson on fire safety - one they won't forget for a long time! Much more about fire perfomance can be found at www.firepixie.com/fire |
